About us

Bearflavoured (b/F) was founded in 2006 by Christian Trippe and Aki Choklat. The first creative output was the 2007 book “Bearflavoured” that linked the bear sub-culture to art and design. Now Bearflavoured is a platform for creativity in Bear and Post-Bear culture. We aim to present work that celebrates the hirsute male ideal; physically or metaphorically. b/F is an international collective of creative individuals that work in the field of art, graphic design, photography and fashion. After the book, we contemplated creating a second volume but decided that there are other outlets available to share our view; exhibitions, video, new media, talks... this page is just the start of this. Let’s continue with the creative revolution... it will make the world a better place!
